INMAQS First Technical Workshop in Ross Priory, Scotland
The International Network for Micro-Fabricated Atomic Quantum Sensors’ first Technical Workshop took place from September 12th-14th, 2022, in scenic Ross Priory, Loch Lomond, Scotland, and was dedicated to topics in micro-fabricated atomic sensors and quantum technologies.
Focus on Research
We welcomed network participants from across the globe to deliver talks on topics relevant to the network, aiming to allow others to see beyond their own research to potential collaborative opportunities and technology exchange.
We were grateful to also host talks from invited speakers, who are leaders in fabrication and end-user applications.
Collaboration at our Core
Beyond holding talks, a main goal of the workshop was to spark future collaboration and engagement opportunities between institutes. We made sure to do some team building activities and squeeze in scenic outings to take full advantage of our unique location in the scenic Scottish Highlands – you can check out some photos below!
We were thrilled to see so many of you for an engaging and fruitful workshop! If you have any feedback, ideas for future workshops, or offers to host, please email us at physics-inmaqs@strath.ac.uk. We highly encourage you to apply for research exchanges and hope the workshop sparked connections and ideas for research exchange opportunities. You can find information about applying for research exchanges here. We look forward to receiving your applications!
